Every time I respond to a post I notice that it subscribes me to a topic...is there a way to not make this default?

the checkbox is automatically checked each time...this needs to go away.

I will ask the webmaster to make this an option-oriented check box. Obviously, once a member posts something, it goes out via email to a large number of people, even if the original poster subsequently makes changes to their post. I understand your argument that the default should be "No email subscription" as opposed to the current default of "Automatic subscription." Thank you for the suggestion.
