Those YahOOs have been a pain in our butt for years.
The idiots we have here didn't have enough money for Marlbury so they are stinking up our town.

Due to the fact that there are to many idiots in Marlb, instead of how many Yes and NO votes there are it should just go by towns...if 2/3 of the towns approve/deny whatever is on the agenda it carries or fails....I'm sick of 2/3 of the towns voting things down but because Marlb has so many morons voting Yes the motions passes anyway....they want all these perks make them contribute more.

Seems to me there is something is wrong with the system if 1 YaHoo town can out vote 2 towns.

If you're serious with your question, the answer is probably simple. Marlborough is on the hook for a third of the cost of the bonding for the "taj mahal".

If they were to attempt to leave the regional district, Hebron and Andover would not want to start paying Marlborough's third on top of our own share. The bonding agreement most likely requires participating towns to continue to pay until everything is paid for.
