Let's start out small by talking to our neighbors, friends, even parents with kids in school. Tell them to be informed before the vote. Send them the link to the proposed budgets http://tiny.cc/9blk3 and http://tiny.cc/t5CjX . Both demonstrate the bulk of the budget goes directly to "staffing" (administration, teachers and support staff at each school and RHAM).

Be sure to remind them that town staff cooperated and trimmed to the 'bare bones'. We barely have enough in the budget to support the infrastructure of this town, maintain our fields, and support our library. On the school side, we are locked into yearly raises for teachers for the NEXT 3 years. This is in addition to insurance subsidies, pensions and superintendents travel built into the budget. If you think this is fair, keep the information to yourself - otherwise, pass it on!!

Reasonable residents may decide they can no longer afford the tax increases.

Yes, A Good Idea, I've Talked To My Neibs & their Tired Too Of The DISENGEANIOUS Presentations/ Scare Tactics & Increases Requested, Especially By The Educators/Admin. They ALWAYS Want More, Not Le$$ & The Majority Is Sick & Tired Of The Excuses Given By The 2 "Slicksters", Bobbie & Billy With Heels. DO MORE WITH LE$$ They say, If we Can, So Can They.
