Have been without power since 0730. Love my generator , but there is so many people without 1 & I,m helping out az best az I can with my neighbors .Gotta tree on my wires & one tree that fell nicely & did not wipe out my shed . Hope the best for all, no matter what, we all should help out each other in this time of need. How is every1else doing if you are able 2 report, Sent frum my eye phone

Did anyone notice the date on the "emergency information" on the town website??
Check it out ... The date, if you look at the pdf properties, is September 2, 2010. Not sure about everyone else in town but the storm hit us earlier. We had no power on AUGUST 28, 2010 early in the morning.

Town Hall did a terrible job and was not PRO-ACTIVE. Most of this information could have been given to the residents "BEFORE" the storm hit. Simple ideas: post it on the town website, post it at the town library, senior center and at the schools, replace the town hall initial phone greeting with a NEW MESSAGE directing everyone to the the locations for information. We all laughed when we read Bonnie was writing out information to post at various places in town.

How can we reinforce the idea that "an emergency plan needs to be in place BEFORE a storm and residents should know what this plan is". Yes, conditions may cause alterations to the plan ... .but the BASIC PLAN NEEDS TO BE SET UP BEFORE A STORM.
