I dunno about that. I wasn't a fan of Bob Lee's salary, but he wasn't all that bad, certainly compared to Jared. I wouldn't call Bob Lee stupid. He had a tough job to oversee a town that grew dramatically under his watch. Jared, on the other hand, consistently let things "fall through the cracks" and came unprepared to discuss various town issues. Jared comes across as both ignorant and an arrogant know-it-all at the same time.

I suspect that by stupidity you are referring to our Town's hiring practise especially when it comes Jared and our supers.

Who will sign the town checks in Jared's absense?

I agree!! I suppose the town charter requires us to hire a town manager. In this job market, we should have several qualified individuals applying for the position. I laughed when I read he wanted to maintain a "presence" at town hall. How is that possible?? ... would he be covered under workmens comp if he put a staple in his hand?? Sorry to read Mr. Watt seemed to encourage his participation at meetings. After his resignation date, the man should be treated as any other tax payer in town.

Of course, Mr. Clarke plans to stay here a couple of more years .. the housing market is so depressed, he CAN'T SELL HIS HOME NOW!!
