Hebron CIP: 1,041 Yes 718 No

RHAM Budget (Hebron) 882 Yes 880 No

RHAM Budget (Andover) 79 Yes 27 No

RHAM Budget (Marlborough) 234 Yes 80 No

TOTAL District RHAM Vote: 1,195 Yes 988 No

Thank you to all 1,746 people who voted, 22 who voted by absentee, and one unreadable machine vote which had to be manually calculated, for a total of 1,769 voters -- almost 30% turnout! AMAZING! Thank you for just voting; that's what democracy is all about, and we have to go back to our democratic roots in which voting is a responsibility of all citizens.

I hope the exit polls can be tabulated promptly, and that the messages sent to the appropriate boards are clear enough, so that the right message gets through. Clearly there were more folks unhappy than not, with the budget this year, for various reasons. If the exit poll had sufficient turnout (and it looked plenty busy to me) then it should provide the right guidance so that the Boards can take the steps the voters want.

I am surprised by Andover decisively supporting the RHAM budget - I don't recall ever seeing them vote in favor of a budget, certainly not this wide a margin.

Also, I wanted to thank you for making this information available here last night - since we have to do without newspaper coverage, this is a huge service to the community. I would imagine HD&S will see a bump in the number of hits the site gets today.
