Take the time to review the Hebron Town Manager's proposed budget for FY 2011-12.  What are your thoughts?  Keep in mind that Governor Malloy is going to be taxing every bite we chew and every sip of water we drink.  If you buy a pair of pants or a blouse on sale at 50% off, you're going to be taxed on the full retail cost, not the sale price.

Do you use coupons to save money at the grocery story?  Well, the Governor has proposed to tax you on the full amount of the item regardless of the coupon.

Fees for everything are doubling and tripling.  Non-profits are especially suffering from these doubling and tripling of fees.  What happens if they throw their hands up and say "I give up!"?  Does the work they do and the services they provide through their fundraising efforts fall back on taxpayers?  Think food banks, fuel assistance, and all those things...

How much can Connecticut residents bear?  And think about this:  where does the line of demarcation in spending control start....and stop?  At the federal level?  At the state level?  At the municipal level?  OR... at all three levels?  Just some food for thought.
