WTH, "Slick Jared" & BOS Giving Out Raises In This Economy:P HHD Getting 3% + Over How many Yrs? With My Pay FROZEN/Decreased Along With Many Others, These BONEHEADS Should Show Sum GONADS/SPINE & Stand Up To Da Unions & DEMAND Givebacks/Freezes Etc
I Can Only Sea Whats gunna Happen When Da Teachers Come Whining For More $$$$, Let's Sea Who Haz More Spine, Spaghetti it $eem$ For Our BOS:P

I don't think give back or concessions is in their vocabulary. They are after all doing it for the good of the children so only parents and taxpayers need to tighten the belt

Everyone in this family FEELS as you do -- other small towns in CT are cutting back, why can't these folks? Did you read through "FUTURE CHALLENGES: " in the posted proposed budget: some very interesting statements.

Laughing because it sounds like one of those commercials where the characters keep singing out the word: MORE! .. MORE!! .. MORE!!

Are you talking about the new on-line article at JI: http://tiny.cc/e5kZf ... and No ONE calculated the total cost of this agreement?!?

Did I read correctly ... each towns BOS can still REJECT the arbitration agreement? Is it a done deal yet? Hard to tell if the increases of their contributions to the health insurance premiums will offset their pay raises. It's a bit confusing AND maybe wishful dreaming on my part.
